Hi everyone, I spent some good amount of time on trying to come with something that would help make non-ideal states in apps look better. That's where the idea with blankJS came up. It allows you to generate deterministic placeholders based upon a stable ID. In some sense, it is similar to gravatar, but the biggest difference is that you can style and design your own placeholders that would match your website. Moreover, it is not limited to avatars, can be used to present any kind of entity in your app. It is free and requires react.
