When faced with the daunting task of picking a product in a shopping situation, you usually use the "fast thinking" part of your brain, which is responsible for 95% of your decisions. 🧠
We use a similar approach when asking our respondents to assign an emotion to an ad (or different parts of it if it's a video). By employing a variety of emojis the users click on, we simulate the shopping situation in which customers have to quickly pick up instead of thinking about their decision. 💡

@zuzana_zakova1 Hi, Zuzana! Thanks for the question! Three metrics decide the success of an ad – Brand, Need, and Emotion.
1️⃣ The Brand metric is pretty self-explanatory. It represents how well the respondents recognize which brand is being advertised.
2️⃣ The Need metric shows whether the ad successfully established a connection between the advertised product and the shopping situation in which it should be considered. (e. g. "I'm thirsty." ➡️ "I want a Coke.")
3️⃣ And, finally, Emotion – this metric works as an amplifier of the ad's message. The more enjoyable an ad is, the more people will remember what it was about.
