This is the 'OG' Franklin biography, the one that Charlie Munger recommends over any other. And if there's someone whose opinion I would take on Franklin, it's probably Munger, as he's modeled his entire life on the habits and wisdom of Franklin.
I happened to pick up the hardcover used, which I would recommend just because the reading experience is incredible. You feel like you're opening an ancient tome of wisdom (because, well, you are).
This biography contains the most comprehensive collection of Franklin's own writing, as well as the most detail about his later life, which Franklin himself failed to write about, because he died before he finished his own autobiography.
