I've been using Biblion for the last few weeks and it allows me to do things that just aren't possible with ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. The main AI apps work for getting summaries of small PDFs, but I've been going through 300+ page PDFs for a course I'm taking and Biblion is the perfect tool for this kind of dense reading. It helps me keep track of what I've already read and analyze passages while I'm reading, but the feature that is the most innovative and helpful is the advanced search. This tool is able to find patterns and search across several documents in ways that would take me forever to do on my own. If you are working with large documents or books give it a try!

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I have hundreds of PDFs and EPUBs scattered across my Mac and actually being able to search by meaning rather than just keywords is a game-changer. The fact that everything stays local is a big plus too—I don't want my research notes sitting on someone else's server.
