Hey guys! Very excited to be launching billboardExchange.com today. The video explains how it works but here it is in words if you'd rather read. It's really a very simple idea. Advertisements are normally a pain because they get in the way of the real content. By making advertisements the content of this website hopefully we can make advertisements an interesting spectacle in and of themselves. The homepage is a billboard which consists of 1000 even sized squares for advertising. A square is like any other advertisement on the internet. It will contain a logo and and when you click on the square it will take you to another place on the internet. BillboardExchange.com is different to other websites which contain advertisements though. On this platform you can actually buy the advertisement square so it is your own property. You can use it to advertise whatever and whenever you like. Should there be demand for the advertisement space you can even lease out the square so that another can advertise temporarily. Or, if you really want to, you can sell the square to another so it becomes their property. All new users are entitled to claim an advertisement square for free!
