As a frequent traveler, I have used my fair share of hand sanitizers. All of them dried out my hands, felt awful on my skin and smelled like rubbing alcohol. Why wasn't there a premium hand sanitizer? I asked everyone I knew what they loved and hated about hand sanitizer, and they echoed the issues I had. So I made it my mission to create something that was kinder on skin and evoked a more delightful experience. I partnered with the best labs and fragrance specialists to offer an alternative to the sea of plastic bottle gels. After unimaginable amounts of research, thought and refinement, we came up with Birdie’s winning formula that combines the skin-softening ingredients of aloe vera and glycerin with natural essential oils of lemon, bergamot and spearmint. The result is a formula that smells more like a fine fragrance than your typical hand sanitizer. Improving just the formulation wasn't enough, Birdie also contains textured dry wipes in his base. Remove a wipe and apply a spritz of sanitizing spray to create a fresh towelette on-the-go to capture dirt and grime. This bird also has a locking mechanism to prevent any accidental sprays when he is nesting in your handbag or suitcase. Not only is Birdie is a huge upgrade over my old hand sanitizer — he is also a great conversation piece (I frequently get compliments on him)! The formula is super light and fresh. Added bonus: my hands never feel sticky after use.
