@mukesh_agarwal Yes, I can confirm that it is doable. I have generated several sample scripts already. Ironically, I am not a developer, programmer or software engineer, so I can not know from experience what I have. But I do know enough about UXP Scripts to know that it generated the output I requested. Also, it was like I was speaking to a human the way it replied. In the end, actually felt like I WAS a developer!

It looks like y'all have a lot of good things going with this. Every programmer has subtle differences in their style of code writing. Can Bito AI pick up on those styles?

@evanwherchek, thanks for the comment. The upcoming version of Bito with the AI engine grounded in your code repo will pick up the styles at the repository level. Bito AI needs context to personalize the responses, and we are hoping to evolve the product such that context can be further personalized to developers' coding style.

This sounds like a great tool! However, does this require you to send most if not all of my code (which may be my client’s code) to 3rd-party services like OpenAI? I’m not even sure I’m legally allowed to share the code like that. Am I getting this wrong? How do you address this?

@raphael_staebler Hi, yes, the code you want to have AI work on does have to be sent to OpenAI. However, only the snippets that you want to work on. For learning your codebase, we index and keep all your code on your machine. None of your code is stored by us or OpenAI and none of it is used for model training.

How about privacy and security? Does it upload (partialy) code to a server to do magic?

@mrten, The index and embeddings we build of your code remain locally on your machine and are not accessed or stored by us. When you make a request to our AI engine, the necessary code snippet does travel on the cloud to OpenAI or other AI models. These snippets are not saved anywhere (except in your history locally on your machine) and not used for any training.
