bloc.host: Dirt Cheap, Dead Simple static site hosting

Quickly I want to go over how we got here. bloc.host is a product out of a side project/company I founded over 5 years ago - Plover Digital LLC (plover.digital). The story of how we got here from there is a little long, so I'll try to keep it to just bloc.host. Recently, in a bid to provide better service and bring in more customers, we upgraded our data center systems to a 10gig connection. Since we are no where close to saturating our bandwidth, we wanted to come up with new ways to use it. One of the suggestions my business partner made eventually led us to bloc.host. We both were looking for a way to easily host our company/personal sites and projects that was within our own infrastructure and control. So, bloc.host was made in some sense for personal need, but also for the challenge, the experience, and the maximization of our resources.
