This is great, many thanks guys!
I have a question, though: Why isn't BotFunded a bot?! ;)
No worries, with @MailClarkAI we receive our newsletters in a Slack channel.
@jiraisurfer you can't build a brick house on stilts. ;) We wanted to get a solid foundation before we created anything more, but the future is bright.
Botlist is quickly becoming *the* place for everything bots. I think a big part of building a new ecosystem is solving the discovery problem and you guys are on track for that.
@dillisingh Thanks for the kind words! Together, we will rise. :)

Shock news just in: Seth & Mubs ship another cool side project 😏
This is cool. Any tool like this that makes it easy to get a grasp on the data makes makers lives easier. Great job guys 💪

@fredrivett Thanks Fred, all the funding going into Bots is a sure sign that this more than just a fad, and making the data accessible is a goal of our!
Thanks guys! This helps dispel the "no one would pay for a bot" sentiment... There's $ there, It's just not end-users. It'll be interesting to see how these investments pan out.

@afhill Thanks Andrea. We definitely feel there is a strong future for Bots, and hope BotFunded helps others see that too!
Congrats @bentossell and team. I really like the simplicity of the presentation too. Some additional ideas worth considering.....Have 3 Tabs:
1. Recently Funded (What you have now)
2. Insights ( A curation of articles like this one from investors interested in the space https://chatbotsmagazine.com/fou... )
3. Opportunities ( A curation of investment opportunities in the space, such as bot focused seed funds, prize-based bot hackathons, battlefields, etc.)

Thanks for the Hunt @bentossell
The chatbots industry continues to grow, and is beginning to get more significant interest from the venture capital world.
Originally planned to be a section of the main Botlist website, we decided the audience was different enough that it warranted it's own site.
BotFunded provides an easy way to keep tabs on all the investments being made in chatbots companies.
The is our MVP release, as the amount of data continues to grow we're planning on adding additional features to make easy to keep updated on specific companies, those getting and those providing investment.
Would love to get your feedback, and happy to answer any questions.

This is a great resource! Definitely lights a fire under other bot companies and developers to stay focused. I love the specificity but want to see what your team has planned for future features as sites like MatterMark, Angel, Crunchbase, F6S, etc. can quickly segment and provide similar data. I agree with @JoshBarkin's suggestions below and to add, I'd like to see:
More Integration - some crossover from communities such as from here, bot-focused slack teams, publications like chatbotsmagazine, etc., as in, comments, polling, the obvious stuff, but some approach where you don't become one of many resources that we in the community crave but are also being inundated by, thanks to all the great new products popping up overnight in various channels and communications. Heck, seeing PH "Makers" involved, if available, would be sweet.
Data Visualization - to help give these words and numbers some perspective. How they rank in relation to time on the pitch so to speak, number of employees, geography, etc.
Background, "The Story" - I think what's lacking across all the sites I mentioned above is info you have to supplement by hunting down associated pr and news media to understand how these people and companies came together, where they got their focus, steps they took to get funded, etc. That's the kind of insight that makes for great podcasts and articles, hopefully even books and movies and such, but we have to normally wait. It would be enlightening to learn about some of the - what seems to be standardized -process behind these outcomes.
Nice work and thanks!
