It all began over a coffee in Paris where the topic of discussion was the better of two different project ideas. After hashing out some details about one of the candidates, Builda, we knew that it was the one. We both realized that it was also something the crypto industry was desperately in need of: a Web3 focused discovery platform that gets your project the attention it deserves, *without* needing to utilize "influencers", or needing a token which is unfortunately one of the highest impact ways of getting attention in crypto currently. After previously working together on a public goods project that delivered Ethereum archive node access to over 1000+ developers, we knew we were ready to go and got to work right away. A couple months later, and here we are!

Congratulations to the Builda team on the launch! 🚀 The concept of showcasing promising projects and accelerating Web3 adoption is much needed in the crypto industry.
I've just tried out Builda and I'll now list my Web3 product there. It's great to have a dedicated platform that focuses on the potential of projects rather than relying solely on external factors for attention!

Yes, we are currently planning to integrate Web3-specific achievements as NFT rewards to incentivize sharing and collaborating with projects. Projects will also be able to give task bounties to Builda users to try features. Our goal is to gamify the engagements of Web3 enthusiasts.
Congrats on the launch! How are you tackling the problem of scam projects being submitted? There aren't many web3 projects being launched that solve real human problems and there are thousands which only hope on hype to make the founders rich and that's it. How valuable do you think it is to show all these many web3 projects without knowing exactly how they work, who's behind them etc.?
@maxdo Hey Max, I totally understand your point of view of Web3 projects and that's exactly the issue we want to solve. There are LOTS of projects that are not scams, like 80% of Web3-related projects don't even have tokens. The issue is that all that people talk about are the ones with scammy tokens. But that's not what I use everyday, lots of projects are about Tooling, Infrastructure, Education, Communities, but also trust worthy finance-related projects that are serious like Payments, Decentralized Banking, or Decentralized Exchanges.
I know, you might not believe me and I understand because currently it's a mess, but we started this project to show that there are lots of good projects that are not scams, that spend time to solve problems for the issue of Trust and Collaboration to help on the fair transfer of value. It's a very hard problem, with lots of temptation, but I feel that they can do it and we will support those teams.
A Web3 directory? Do you know what I answer to that?
Hell yeah, I've had less free time in recent 3 months and couldn't follow on Twitter all the threads about Web3 new projects. I will definitely check it out, guys congrats on the launch.

As someone who's just a beginner and wants to get into the blockchain realm and explore how it works, and what it exactly is about, I think Builda is the perfect platform to share your ideas and get creative while being able to draw inspiration from others.

It's like ProductHunt for WEB3/crypto)) nice idea! Interesting - how do you collect such projects? I think some startups should be added automatically and other through the button "submit project". I research new crypto projects every day so it's my professional field for 5+ years.
@cryptoved Currently we collect projects by having builders come and submit them themselves, otherwise advocates can always submit a project regardless of if they're part of the team.
Exploring something where there's a way for projects to get added without submit might be interesting if we can find a way that makes sense!
