Burstsend is a fast, private file sharing app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Send hundreds of photos, videos and any files directly between devices — original quality, zero compression, fully encrypted. No cloud, no account, no expiring links. Transfers resume where they left off, your screen stays awake during long sends, and you can send to multiple people in parallel. Works right from the iOS Share Sheet. One swipe is all it takes.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Burstsend out of pure frustration. Every time I tried to share a trip's worth of photos, AirDrop got stuck on "Waiting...", and WhatsApp crushed everything to a fraction of the original quality.
So I spent months building the file sharing app I wanted: direct device-to-device transfers, zero compression, fully encrypted with keys that never leave your devices. Transfers resume where they left off instead of starting over, and you can send to multiple people in parallel.
No cloud, no account, no ads — it's a one-time purchase for Pro, no subscriptions.
I built this solo and would genuinely love your feedback. What would you want in a file sharing app? 🙏

Love the no-cloud approach, feels genuinely safe for big batches of personal photos. One thing I'd kill for: a folder transfer option instead of having to select files one by one when I'm moving a whole album over. Would make Burstsend feel complete for anyone migrating off iCloud.

Love that it skips the cloud entirely, this is exactly what I want when moving photos between my iPhone and Mac. One thing that would make it even better for me is letting me pick a default destination folder so I dont have to reselect every single time.
