A while back, I was running sales campaigns for Cash on Delivery (COD) products, and it was incredibly exhausting trying to manually answer, manage, and convert a high volume of customers on WhatsApp. I searched the market for an automation solution, but everything I found was either too rigid, overly complex to configure, or insanely expensive for the basic features they delivered. I thought: "I can build something better." That thought turned into 1 year and 7 months of coding entirely on my own, structuring the core idea. It was a long journey of trial and error—a few successes, but honestly, a whole lot more mistakes before finally getting the architecture right. Today, Butler is a robust platform for autonomous AI agents, built on a self-hosted multi-tenant architecture that guarantees complete data privacy without the massive enterprise price tag. Building this is a continuous effort, and I know there is always room to improve.
