I came across a solid alternative to Calendly today — a tool called cal.id.
Same idea, same smooth scheduling experience, and honestly it looks like it could become a strong competitor.
The market always needs more than one dominant player. Choice pushes products to improve. cal.id feels like one of those entrants that can actually shake the space a little.
Worth checking out if you’re exploring scheduling tools beyond the usual names.
Looks like a great tool - i've been looking for a Calendly alternative and Microsoft Bookings doesn't allow payments so this could be a great new tool for our team
Cal ID
@hasanh007 Thank you! Cal ID is the perfect alternative. We fully support team scheduling, including built-in payment integration, and you can import your Calendly setup in a single click. We're confident your team will love it!
Cal ID
Thanks so much, @hasanh007 ! 🙌
That’s exactly the gap we’re trying to fill – a powerful alternative to Calendly, but standalone without any missing pieces.
Cal ID lets you:
✅ Accept payments (Stripe, Razorpay, etc.)
✅ Fully brand your booking pages
✅ Set up team scheduling and internal meetings
Out of curiosity – what’s one feature that would make this a no-brainer for your team? I'd love to know!
Open source makes this powerful. There’s always that one scheduling feature I wish I could tweak... 🚀
Cal ID
@miki_makhlevich Absolutely! That’s what makes open source so special, you can finally tweak and shape scheduling just the way you want.

@miki_makhlevich
Hi Miki, glad you showed up! Thanks for supporting the launch. For sure, nothing beats the OSS philosophy.
It was under discussion until @chrismessina asked if Cal ID is going to be open-source or not. At the end, we finalized to keep Cal ID 100% open source, where people are welcome to host, contribute, and even schedule chats with our devs ; )
Claio.ai
Congrats on the launch! I hope lots of startups take advantage of your Black Friday offer - thanks for making this tool available to all!
Cal ID
@kaeroc Thank you so much! We’re really excited about it and hope it helps a ton of startups. Appreciate the support! 🙌
Cal ID
@kaeroc Thank you so much, Karine!
Black Friday felt like the perfect moment to go big for startups. Making things accessible to all is what drives us, but if you were to niche down to one segment, what would that be?
Finally! I have been trying to find a simple scheduling platform that integrates with the different tools our company uses. Got the whole thing set up, and integrated with our video conferencing (Webex) and calendar (Zoho) in less than 5 minutes. Thank you!
Cal ID
@nate_hanks1 That’s awesome to hear, Nate🙌 We’re so glad Cal ID made setup and integrations that are smooth for you. Appreciate the support💙
Cal ID
Thank you for giving us a spin @nate_hanks1 ! 🙌
We really wanted to make those integrations painless, so it’s awesome to hear it just worked, especially with Webex and Zoho (you’re officially in power-user territory 😄).
If there’s anything else your team wishes Cal ID could connect with, we’re all ears. We ship fast and love building what people actually need!
Congrats on the launch! Cal ID’s unlimited-free plan + open-source codebase is a evolving take in this field.
Looking forward to seeing how you’ll scale and what new integrations you’ll add. Wishing the team all the best! ⚡️
Cal ID
@omarcodes Wow, thank you so much for the incredible feedback! That truly means a lot to the whole team.
Nas.io
This looks promising. A scheduling tool with no commission and no feature limits on the free plan is refreshing. Freelancers, creators, solopreneurs can benefit!
Cal ID
@nuseir_yassin1 Thanks, Nuseir! That’s exactly why we built Cal ID: to help freelancers, creators, and solopreneurs own their time and unlock their full potential without paying a penny.
Cal ID
Thanks Nuseir! That’s exactly who we built this for. No hidden fees, just pure value 🚀
actually better than calendly, if you are struggling with one event allowed in free version of calendly , this could be one of the best alternatives in the market.
Cal ID
@sourabhpurbia Thank you! We made unlimited free events a core feature because we believe Cal ID should be the best alternative. We appreciate the comparison!
Cal ID
Exactly! That one event limit on Calendly’s free plan is rough. We wanted to remove all those barriers.
