If you're a freelancer or independent professional, you probably know this pain: you've got a Google Calendar for one client, Outlook for another, tasks scattered across various tools like ClickUp, and somehow you're still managing it all with tons of browser tabs and manual workarounds. Double-bookings happen. Meetings get missed. And you're spending hours every week just trying to keep your schedule straight. That's why my cofounder Abby and I built CalPal. We were busy independent professionals with the same problems and decided to build a calendar hub that brings all our calendars, tasks, and bookings into one unified view. The feature we're most proud of is real-time cross-calendar blocking: when you book a meeting in a Google Calendar, CalPal automatically blocks that time across every other connected calendar without exposing private details. No more awkward apologies to clients. We also built in booking links, bi-directional task syncing, drag-and-drop time blocking, and time analytics that show your effective hourly rate so you can actually see which clients are worth your time.
