My friend, a long time RVer asked me if there is something, some app that could do the following: 👉 I want to drive 5-6 hours daily and discover places to park my RV (parking, campground, etc.) and take a rest for that day, 👉 It would be cool to fit that in some time budget, for example - I have 15 days to see this city and that, can we add those too, 👉 Could I have that plan drawn on map with a little itinerary on the side, so I could see where am I going to be the second, third, fourth etc. day, 👉 Could those plans be shareable? Ok, cool, let's do it. And we did it. 😊😃

Great idea! Probably not the best time to launch it since everyone is mostly staying home.. :( but I will for sure use it next time my friends and I plan a roadtrip!

@lillyhatzzz In the US, RV sales are at an all-time high and van upfitting companies are completely booked solid (from personal experience). I personally think this is a great time to launch something like this!

@lillyhatzzz @crixlet1 rv travel is the only way we have found to travel without using planes, buses, trains, hotels,Airbnb’s, rest stops etc. Gas stations are the only Covid attack vector afaict. I’m into this

Why "Camp" in "CampTarget". You can use this for just general road trips. I would recommend noodling on a name change to not exclude a good portion of your target market. This tool is the best I've seen for all multi-leg road trips.

@joshuapinter yes, I'm actually using it when traveling with my kids, to plan stops after 3-4 hours, but generally we targeted RV population. It's basically for everyone. :) thanks for comment!

@nenadg I love this idea. I would make the hours on the road slider go up to 24 hours. Often we have multiple drivers and prefer to drive all day and night. I did see that the miles per day can be up to 2000 but that's an awkward workaround. :) Great job!

Good luck with it. We've seen interest in road trips grow to all time highs over the past several months (after zero back in March). Still some little bugs for you to work out. The hours per day planning is well done. I think you'll find $12.50 per MONTH to be pretty steep for most people. Just for contrast, Roadtrippers is $29.99 per YEAR.
