@kyrylosilin Great question! We pre-vet the suppliers through various methodologies before bringing them onboard. From there, we monitor metrics such as responsiveness and quality of sample photos, etc. and always deploy in-person QA for orders to make sure the final product is of the highest quality. We're always improving our process.

Congratulations on launching this innovative product! I'm really excited about the potential it has to revolutionize the way we source physical products.
I find it intriguing that your virtual sourcing agent can negotiate with thousands of suppliers on our behalf. The idea of having samples and orders delivered straight to my doorstep sounds incredibly convenient and could save a lot of time for entrepreneurs and creators alike.
Have you considered adding features that allow users to track the negotiation process in real-time? Additionally, it would be great to know how the quality of suppliers is ensured. Looking forward to seeing how this evolvesβgreat work!
Cavela sounds like a game-changer for businesses of all sizes!

@asardain this looks really helpful and seems like what I need for our merch project. Just one question thoughβdoes Cavela work with any specific regions or is it global? And can I see some supplier examples before signing up?
@asherdorianthorne Great question Asher. We primarily source out of Asia, however we do have coverage in Europe and Latin America.

Fascinating concept, @asardain! Cavela's approach to linking designers directly with a vast manufacturing network could revolutionize how custom products are sourced and produced. How does Cavela ensure quality control across such a diverse network of suppliers? Also, any thoughts on sustainability practices within your supply chains? This could be a major selling point for eco-conscious brands and consumers alike. Great initiative on disrupting traditional manufacturing!
@xtralite Great question. At the moment QA is a combination of automated and human-mediated methods. We pre-screen and cross-validate suppliers through a couple methods (it depends by country) before bringing them onboard. From there, we monitor various metrics such as responsiveness and quality of sample photos, etc. and always deploy in-person QA for final orders to make sure the final product is of the highest quality. We're continually looking for new ways to automate the quality assurance.
For sustainability: absolutely, and we are asked this often. We can request certain sustainability certifications for users that are looking for certain compliance.
