Love this concept. A couple of years ago I was trying to launch a competitor (but that's a different story). The simplicity of the whole thing is great. Pick a charity and start running.
It might not be for everyone, but for many it is a powerful motivator for actually getting off the couch and out the door.

Awesome, I like it. I used it for a short run this morning and donated 75 cents to cancer research. :) I would really love if it connected to some of the other common running apps (Runkeeper, Nike+), only because I had to use my running app and Charity Mile while I ran and it'd be convenient to only use one.

It would be great to combine it with trackers like Fitbit, Jawbone and so on, if only to save the battery! But the idea is very interesting
