Hey Hunters, I'm excited to introduce ChatArena.ai, a project born from my research at Harvard on identifying the best AI chatbot. I evaluated 10 AI chatbots, including ChatGPT-4, Gemini 1.5 Pro, Llama 3, Perplexity, Bing Copilot, and more. My findings revealed that each chatbot has unique strengths, and using multiple chatbots simultaneously can improve response quality by 61%. Initially, I used my proprietary software for this research, but due to high demand, I’ve made it public. Here’s what I learned about each chatbot: Perplexity - Delivers comprehensive answers rather than bullet points, providing more detailed responses. Bing Copilot - Excellent for citing sources and recommending helpful videos. - 20-30% of the time, its answers may not be usable. - Answers feel more human-like and are often more useful due to sourced information. ChatGPT-4 - Produces detailed, descriptive answers, often in bullet points. - Excels at generating detailed data tables, unlike Gemini 1.5 Pro. Gemini 1.5 Pro - Understands the context of your questions better, offering a conversational tone. General Observations - There’s no reason to use outdated versions like ChatGPT 3.5 or Gemini 1.0 today. - Gemini 1.0 provides good answers but lacks the detail and helpfulness of Gemini 1.5 Pro.
