This is an awesome idea! I've always found it difficult to find really focused communities, especially on Twitter. Or annoyingly, you can always tell when it's a bot programmed to add people to lists.
Any idea when Android will be available? And is Twitter going to be the only channel (what with all the news going on about fewer MAUs?)
@carylyne Hey Carylyne. We don't have a timeline on Android yet (I know Android user are to tired of hearing that). I think it's important for us to nail the experience on one platform first. No, Twitter will likely just be one channel. Thanks for the question!
@joshbarkin You might be giving away our Pinky and the Brain type plans.

Hi Eric! This is timely! Although I'm not timely on my comment. It is impossible to replicate the congruence of experiencing a live event with millions of individuals. It's a diverse yet self-selective group with intense attention to a common theme. Who has time to swift through hashtags?! Whoa! Did you see that foul?!? Huh? I got distracted. Good job, dude.
Hey guys!
I write the iOS code for Chatmunk - and I am looking forward to getting you all into the app.
Because I'm not too popular on Twitter (110 Followers wooooo!) I've always had trouble finding conversations and interacting with likeminded people.
However, I've really enjoyed using Makerhunt, which is a Slack Community for... makers. It's been really valuable for me to chat in real time with people who share my interests.
However, Slack isn't exactly a perfect solution - it's designed for use by enterprise teams and has quite a few quirks because of that (for example, entry into a slack group has a ton of friction.)
Combining the best aspects of Slack and Twitter will prove to be incredibly valuable - I'm excited to see where this goes.

From a CTA and conversion perspective: Using a confirmation page from another service (Maitreapp) who appears in the 2/3 of the process confuse users... FIX IT ! :D
I love the idea of twitter communities and great job for Eric implementing it! I would think it would be an easy sell to Twitter if you pushed it! I love this app! I love this idea! Go @erictwillis!
