Create a support agent trained on your content and back-end data. Let it handle all customer questions, from realtime inventory information to document generation. Boost your customer service and cut your support workload.
Congrats on the launch 🚀
The market is getting flooded with "talk with your documents" apps, and I thought this would be one of them. But I was wrong. This is a new way, this is the beginning of web automation, this can finally make the bottom right chat-bot popups useful 😎😎
This is a great idea and well-executed. Having the chatbot not only have knowledge about the website/app/company but also being able to retrieve information and perform tasks is genius. Congrats on the launch!
Hello again PH! 🥳
"Another chatbot for your content" you may ask? Not really! Let me explain.
I have realized that there's an untapped potential for ChatGPT plugins: why leave them locked up in the OpenAI store? Let's embed them on websites or share using links!
Let's make chatbots ~ do stuff ~, not just talk about what they know. 🤠
That's how Chatwith was born. It is a chat widget, it scrapes your website, knowledge page, notion etc - but more importantly, it also understands your API. It can interact with that API on your or your visitors' behalf.
Some use cases & ideas:
⚬ Shopify bot - ask it for order status and invoice
⚬ Realtor - ask for budget, provide listings
⚬ Survey - ask questions, collect answers, submit to Typeform
⚬ Airline service - get your boarding pass
⚬ Mixpanel - talk to your analytics
In other words:
⚬ Talk to APIs & hot data
⚬ ChatGPT plugin on every website
⚬ Your SaaS can be a chatbot
⚬ APIs made accessible (they were reserved for devs until now)
⚬ Create an API, use chat as the interface - skip the frontend
I am trying to envision a future where website visitors are empowered to just say what they want from the business - instead of navigating endless dashboards and documentation. 🤔
I am excited to hear your thoughts! If have an idea for a custom chatbot - hit me up, I can help make it for you! ☺️
Best,
Rafal

@rafal_makes congratz on the launch. This is a great tool imho.
Finally a place which combines several services into one, not just chatting with your data for example.
The api integration is very interesting and I could see this being used with some of my consulting clients!
Congrats on the launch 🚀

We all know how time-consuming customer support is, and this tool is a game-changer when it comes to that. It's super easy to train on your own data and a huge time saver! Definitely worth trying out!
Having an AI-based website chatbot sounds like a fantastic idea. I also thought of needing one since I got to know what AI can be helpful. My primary reservation about deploying AI tools in a live customer environment revolves around the AI's potential for 'hallucinations' or erroneous outputs. Any inaccuracies in responses could adversely impact our reputation with our customers. Do you have any thoughts on mitigating these concerns?"
@joanna_jingke_he for sure! that's a totally valid concern. The quality of the answers depends heavily on the quality of the inputs. If you have a Q&A type of knowledge base already then it's very straightforward for the AI to retrieve answers from it. On the other hand, if your information sources are very technical with information about one concept scattered across many pages then the AI has to 'compile' the answer from multiple places, making it more susceptible to hallucinations.
There's also the option of using GPT-4 with Chatwith, which has superior reasoning skills but with the disadvantage of slower responses.
If you serve eg. an extra sensitive industry and you want to ensure the safest approach possible, I would advise training the chatbot on just very specific set of Q&A and using a prompt to direct any ambiguous questions to your human representative. This way you can slowly onboard and see where is the sweet spot for your business.
@igorkrasnik thank you Igor! yeah I forgot to mention you can ask the Chatwith chatbot on hunted.space about Chatwith launch today haha https://hunted.space

@joshbarkin yes, that's what I have already found out during early testing. The activation has a huge drop off because it requires a source of information (website), API, training, testing... even though I made it as short as possible to the aha moment.
I wonder if you have any ideas or suggestions for activation in such a technical product?
