I really overwhelmed about the launch of this project. I actually built a barcode-scanning app years ago to score food for healthiness, so seeing something that works without barcodes is amazing. I’m definitely downloading it and trying it out on my next grocery run — thanks for building this!

I'm excited for the Android update, It's good to see Checkit working well without barcodes. I wonder if there will be a finalized version before 2026
