Really like the privacy angle here, that's becoming a real differentiator. One thing that would make this way more useful for me: a tax-adjusted comparison between two job offers. Raw salary numbers can be misleading once you factor in different state taxes or pre-tax benefits like commuter plans. If you could plug in your location and a couple of deductions and get a real take-home comparison, this would go from a quick calculator to something I'd actually bookmark and share with friends job hunting.
Love that everything stays local in the browser, that is a huge plus for something as sensitive as salary info. One thing that would make it more useful for me would be the ability to factor in equity or stock compensation when comparing two job offers, since base salary alone does not always tell the full story.
