@taniabell It's a good question. Our customers with the best performing campaigns see that hyper personalized and targeted outreach works way better than spray and pray. With Ciro we're trying to make it easier to reach out to ONLY the prospects that would actually be a good fit for your product in a hyper personalized and targeted way.
@davidjwiner all your competitors talk about personalisation and I'm sure everyone in my inbox/spam thinks they're sending personalised messages. but not a single cold email I've received has been helpful or useful to me.

@davidjwiner @taniabell I see your point and your feedback Tania, but I can see a lot of use in the modern sales process for B2B with having a way to build these sorts of lists for SMEs and later on for enterprises.
Sales is an art and this tool seems to have the potential to enable sales representatives to learn more about prospects (IE doing the data scraping that might take a few hours or so to get a decent list together) nearly instantly. I agree with you if the tool is just used to spam inboxes it is likely not providing the most value for anyone involved in the sales process. But for people looking to hone in on relationship building which in my opinion one of the only real successful ways to conduct business, then this tool can help a ton.
But that is just my $.02
@taniabell it's possible that the cold outreaches you get are really bad precisely because they were poorly targeted ("spray and pray" campaigns)....I also get spammed with too many irrelevant software sale pitches myself. Now if everyone will move to Ciro I'd probably be dropped from the prospect list a lot more!

Great questions on both. Sharing quick answers to both here:
How does your AI test and select the "sweet spot" filters?
The AI seeks to find this sweet spot today in two ways: Parallel Search Strategies & Chain-of-Thought. When you run a search in Ciro, the AI will attempt multiple strategies in parallel to find the filters that work best for your search. Relatedly, the Chain-of-Thought means that the AI self-reviews its work, and uses that self-critique to find better filters if it can.
Is there a way for users to customize this further?
Yes! While you can always hop-in and edit your filters manually, I also recommend using the Scoring Criteria to further dial-in your search. Within your filters, the Scoring Criteria tell the AI the specific leads you want sorted at the top of your list. The AI will then review the entire contact's and company's profile to check whether they fit your criteria. This can be helpful for customizing further, and sorting leads with attributes that wouldn't be possible using filters.

Agentic search strategies: Other platforms are hooked up to one (or several) lead databases but the problem is that the AI knows one way to search through the database (e.g., boolean search on job titles / industry). We've built an agentic loop that allows the AI to try several different search strategies and evaluate each strategy as it goes to find the best way to target your ICP.
Fine-grained criteria: Every prospect gets analyzed not just for overall fit with your ICP, but that fit is broken down into custom criteria that you can configure and filter on.
Highest quality emails / mobiles: Ciro started actually as a pure data enrichment provider so we've spent years building up the best data waterfall for emails and mobile numbers. We are connected to 15+ 3P data sources and consistently hear we have the highest quality mobile numbers and emails vs. competitors.

How do you ensure data quality in your approach? For data quality, we cross-reference 15+ sources in real time and use a custom scoring model to prioritize the most reliable contacts. We also run live validations on emails and numbers to reduce bounces and dead ends. It's definitely not perfect, but it seems to already outperform a lot of legacy players
Do you have any prompt engineering recommendations on how to use Ciro Autopilot most effectively?
The best results come from being specific about your ICP. For example: “Find me Series A fintechs in New York who likely hold crypto or web3 holdings.” The more context you give, the better Autopilot can tailor the results and do it's research for you.
