So... you wanna know about Clay do ya? Let's put it this way, you will still use some of your other tools, but you will only use Clay when it comes to piecing things together, enriching further, and getting what you need done. Pros: It will do literally whatever you want it to, and if it doesn't now, ask the team to help you do it(cause they literally let you zoom them if you need something) or they will create that feature for you. Pricing is good for what you do, just be careful and run manually vs automatically. This is excel in God Mode. You won't understand what I mean until you use it. It will blow your mind. Cons: I wish you could buy more credits vs upgrade, but I know this is already on their features roadmap, so this one doesn't really count. You will pull your hair out, because you didn't get this tool sooner. It gives you SO MUCH time back. TL;DR - This tool will change the game for you, like it has for us. To put into perspective just 1 KPI, our reply rated more than doubled just by plugging our leads into Clay. Oh, and our open rates on COLD is currently ~70%. This tool will change the game for you.

I've been using Clay for a few months now, and loving it! I was able to put off hiring an SDR for so long because I can do amazing prospecting and enrichment at scale, and now these new features make it easier without having to set up your own formulae for common workflows. Also, incredible support over Slack from Clay people and other users. Couple of feature requests: 1) A directory or marketplace where I can hire contractors skilled in Clay, so I can outsource some of this work easily. Or at least some certification indicating they've learned the basics. 2) A more capable web scraper that can follow pagination or navigate from the list view to the details view to import an entire directory. I'm ok with this running in my browser and needing me to walk away from it for a bit if that's the cost efficient way to do it.

Last week my agency set a record for # of meetings booked in a single week, and I give the credit to Clay! Now that we're using Clay, our cold calls are so insanely personalized people are beyond impressed when they hear us; and due to the amount of info we know about them, they have far more trust that what we're offering is relevant. A prospect recently said "What do you work for the CIA?" because a rep knew so much about them and their company. The results we're seeing, targeting the same accounts and same personas, but just incorporating more clay enrichment/ AI research into our script is proving to be incredible. I would not be doing this without Clay.

Clay is basically an Iron Man suit for people who sell things. Without it? You're ordinary, and you do tedious things slowly. With Clay? Good gracious you're unstoppable. I've built extensive internal tooling that would have been impossible without Clay. It's a simple app if that's all you need, but what you can do with a little bit of clever thinking is unreal. Oh yeah and it's super fun to use! Granted, your idea of fun would need to be web scraping, data enrichment, process automation, and making hard things look easy -- but hey you're on Product Hunt, so not so far fetched. Beyond that, the folks at Clay are constantly adding features, fix bugs, giving pointers, and fostering a great community. Keep it up! I need more Clay!

After spending 4+ years doing outbound in B2B sales, I was blown away when I found Clay. The ability to centralize all of your data points on accounts & prospects into an actionable workspace is something I'd never before seen. The ability to customize and be creative within your ICP was really exciting. On top of that, their AI-forward approach gets be really excited about the future potential. I plan to bring Clay into every sales org I join going forward.

Clay is such a comprehensive search tool for prospecting - it's amazing how they've created this database to search the web, google reviews, google maps, and then allows us to import into google sheets, CRMs for maximum productivity. This has saved me so much time from hiring people to build scrapers and validate contact information and is a game changer. Looking forward to using this further for my lead gen efforts.

Clay is by far my favorite tool in my tech stack. It unlocks so many possibilities for outbound, although I def see a lot of use cases outside of prospecting. Been using it for ~7 months now & it's enabled us to do some really cool stuff while maintaining a lean team. And the Clay team is just super impressive. The support, the features they're launching, everything is top tier. If you're not using Clay... you probs should stop reading this & just give it a try! Would love for completions to be instant, but regardless Clay has saved me an inconceivable amount of hours because what we are doing now we just would not be able to do manually. ❤️ u clay

This is currently the best sales tool in the market. I'm saying that as a person who has tried over 200 tools (yes, for real, check my website!), and nothing comes close. Sales teams that aren't leveraging technology such as Clay are living in the past. The tool might be looking a bit complex at first, so not that straightforward to know its capabilities and how to use it... but they have a /learn page full of video tutorials. My best advice is to check these videos out. In summary, there's really no going back from using the tool! Do yourself a favour and check it out

@tek_on_deck - congrats on building such an innovative and exciting product that represents a step-change for businesses looking to acquire and maintain good quality data. I have a recommendation for future development! Please consider building a partner program with a directory of vetted Clay specialists / consultants that can be hired for more technical projects. As a member of the HubSpot partner program I've witnessed first hand the power of building a partner ecosystem. Speaking personally, I'd love to learn how to use Clay properly but I'm strapped for time and resource. An alternative would be to hire a Clay specialist to build some of my initial projects which in turn would speed up my learning journey. A partner or specialist directory would be a great resource. thanks!
