Reviewers see ClipDrop as useful but unreliable. I cannot rate higher than this as I paid last month for a monthly subscription and a few days later was unable to login due to a firebase authentication error. It was fixed a few days later. But now this month I paid for another month and have not been able to login to both my paid accounts. My second account just gives me a login error popup and the other gives the firebase non authenticated user error. I have put a support request in on the 1st of September (Your request (21125) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.) But have had no reply, so that is a month of no service for something I have paid for. So clipdrop please fix your broken website and make it so I and probably a lot of other paying customers can login. (Update 10/10/2023 I have had contact with other users and the same thing has happened to them, one person also paid a yearly subscription and then got locked out of account.)

I loved testing and using the generous free version so much that I signed up for a paid plan for the additional benefits. I noticed that all of the image results are 72dpi when downloaded, I incorrectly assumed that they would be 300dpi as a paying customer, and sent a support message over 48hrs ago and then a courtesy follow up message 12 hours ago but still no response whatsoever from the Clipdrop support - I only received an automated email with a support query number. I am left wondering why would you create such awesome text-to-image artworks and upscale them only to download 72dpi quality images? 300dpi is the standard for printing quality. Also the upscaling options (up to 16x) actually clips the images at 8192px so no matter how much you upscale your images they will never be greater than 8192px and rendered at 72dpi. This makes all artwork created on Clipdrop pointless if you want to print your creations in 300dpi quality and also wont be able to print on A1 nor A0 sized canvas. Such a pity. But my main complaint and 1 star review is due to no response from customer support in 48hrs so far... a bittersweet experience after happily signing up to be a paying customer. For those who do need to upscale in 300dpi quality I highly recommend Vance AI which I also recently discovered - they upscaled an artwork image to over 24000px with astonishing detail and in less than 2 minutes - simply WOW!!

Absolutely worst AI app ever. The quality of the generated images change drastically from the time when an user avails a free trial period and after the payment has been done. There are no places to provide negative prompts. Even if the prompt is not NSFW, multiple blocked NSFW images are generated. I wanted a refund and reached out to them via email 5 days back, all I got in return was an autogenerated complaint number. I tried following up twice but no one reverted. Do not waste your money on this.

Hello Rajtilak. I'm sorry to read you had a bad experience with Clipdrop. That said, the quality of the images is the same during the free trial period and after the payment. You may have no luck on a single image, but if you try again, you'll see there is no quality loss: we use the same algorithm and have only one. There is no negative prompt; we'll add this feature to the free and pro versions soon. And finally our NSFW filter is a bit sensitive, but it shouldn't prevent you from generating images. If one is classified by mistake, you can generate another one. That said, we'll refund you if you like thru customer support. I just found your ticket and will do it now.

As a paid subscribed user, the remove background tools do not work as intended, it leaves a grey outline behind, and the rescaling tool takes a super long queue to load, or never loads. I've requested for a refund on the third day of my subscription but the customer service are non existence, they never reply the message even I email back again.

Bad results. I also needed an invoice copy. Support never answers. I have contacted them every day for 10 days now. I read that they are using SDXL and signed up for a year based on my experience from dream studio and that they were bought by Stability AI. I would never have guessed that the organization was so unprofessional and unresponsive, nor could I suspect that the quality of the product was so inferior. Well, I should have done more research or signed up for a month first - so it is my fault, but it is so sad and disappointing.

Let me just say that, if you are willing to pay for Clipdrop Pro, you will enjoy this. I found it way too expensive for my use. It has THREE FEATURES. The only reason there's a paid version is so that you can make more photos and use them again and again. The free version is trash, and I found that out because as I was testing it, my photo quota went down to 9, even after I deleted it. That is fatally flawed. Not a good experience. Don't use if you don't want to pay.

I'm a paying customer and the speed and quality are astonishingly bad. Support is non-existent, they don't answer queries, pretending to have chat, but they don't even bother to follow up by email. I've been in the 'queue' for 30 minutes with the most recent image, and it still says "9 minutes left." Really let me down.

Missing key features: 1. The ability to tweak the upscale process. Maybe a simple slider to adjust the amount of upscaling. It kinda ruins text sometimes.. I use it on software and windows screenshots.
