ClipStash is a lightweight, open-source clipboard history manager for macOS. Unlike other clipboard tools, ClipStash is the only one that exports directly to Google NotebookLM with auto-splitting for the 200MB source limit. Built with privacy as architecture, not afterthought. Zero network access, zero telemetry, fully offline. Your clipboard never leaves your Mac. Features: SQLite search, password manager detection, pin clips, filter by app. Under 60MB RAM. Free and open source. MIT license.

Hey Product Hunt! π
I built ClipStash because I wanted to feed my clipboard history into NotebookLM β and realized no clipboard manager does this.
The problem: NotebookLM has a 200MB source limit. Manually splitting files is painful.
The solution: ClipStash auto-splits your exported clipboard into perfectly-sized markdown files, ready to drop into NotebookLM.
Why it matters:
β’ Everything you copy β code snippets, research notes, links β becomes searchable AI context
β’ Your clipboard is surprisingly valuable knowledge you're losing every day
Privacy was non-negotiable. ClipStash runs in macOS sandbox with zero network entitlements β it literally cannot connect to internet. Open source so you can verify.
I'd love your feedback! What features would make this more useful for your workflow?
@kiku_jwΒ Really like that it keeps everything local.
