Hey Product Hunters !! 👋 First off, huge thank you to @5harath for hunting us :) We are super excited to finally release Clipt on Product Hunt! But first, a little backstory... Last summer, we had an online research session with a few Community members looking into a topic we called ‘content creators’, and during it we needed people to get something from their phone to a computer. One person emailed themselves, one used a messaging app to text themselves and another used a cloud service. This was unrelated to the testing, but it did catch our attention… Fast forward a few months, we remembered the scenario with everyone sending themselves information and thought this would be an interesting problem to try and solve. Our amazing developer Tim W. made a simple demo app to copy text on a phone and paste it on a laptop and it looked very promising. And so...Clipt was born! The App and Chrome extension creates a link between your devices to seamlessly connect your clipboard. Once installed you can copy on one device and paste on another or use it to send files back and forth easily, connected to as many devices as you’d like. Here are a few things you can do with Clipt: 📱 Transfer photos and videos from your smartphone (Android/iPhone) to laptop (Mac/PC) 🔑 Send a password code from your phone to computer 📥 Copy on one device & paste on another 📂 Manage files between your phone & laptop 🌐 Transport text between devices Since our launch a few months ago, Clipt has over 80,000 users from almost 200 countries that have transferred over 20 million pieces of data. ?makers Whenever I take a screenshot on the Windows by Win+Shift+S, it is copied to the clipboard to paste anywhere but whenever I try to send the screenshot through Clipt it says 'Error: sendClipboard failed: undefined' which probably means that the backend is not able to figure out the data type to put this kind of data in. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) Well, the developers would know much better than me. I feel this should be there as it would help avoid the hassle of first saving the screenshot and then sending it. Please consider this, else this tool is a life-saver.

@samtwist After using the new ios versions for a little bit, sometimes the clipt extension (edge) or app (ios) will log itself out.. why is that?
