NUM is a new way to store and retrieve data, powered by DNS. We've published 23m data points about 4.8m UK companies. It's all available free, fast, unlimited and unrestricted. We provide free, open source libraries for developers to build apps with this data.

We built this because the creativity and potential of developers is being stifled by the giants of the web. The APIs they offer hold developers back – setting limits on requests and use, usually to prevent them building competing products. Our goal is to unleash developers by making access to useful data free, unlimited and unrestricted. I've been working at NUM for a couple years now and really excited that we're able to provide the most comprehensive, free and unlimited data source for UK company information. UK companies are just our first step, we'll be rolling out to the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and then Europe next year: https://num.uk/roadmap Most of all we'd love to hear your feedback and thoughts on NUM, what your concerns are and any thoughts on what experiences you might build with the data we've made available.
