Love it!
Can the color scheme be customized accordingly to the website/app pallet?
@tania_pelykh Right, 3 options available at the moment:
custom css styles for chat button which opens/close widget
custom css styles for Widget view itself
custom css styles badges
Either plain css styles or Tailwind classes could be provided, where you could pass your preferable color scheme
I'm a Full Stack Developer exploring ConnectyCube Chat Widget for potential integration. I have a few key questions to better understand its capabilities:
Can the chat widget’s appearance be customized to match the website or app design?
How does user authentication work in the widget?
Does the widget support multimedia messages (images, videos, files)?
What anti-spam and bot protection mechanisms are in place?
Is there an option to integrate the widget with CRM or other third-party services?
@aviacode Heeey Vlad, please find my answers below:

it works via "userId" prop where you need to pass a user id from your system or any uniq value. If you want to preserve the user between diff devices, you need to pass same userId. The user is created in the flight, no need to enter any password.
Images, Videos, PDF and documents supported
Block users and report users available to report any suspicious activity which later will be analysed by Administrator. Later, more sophisticated and automated spam protection will be added. Check more https://developers.connectycube.com/js/chat-widget/#moderation
The widget can be integrated with any 3rd party system including CRMs, marketplaces etc or any other websites. A "userId" prop is used as an identifier which should be tied to user if from external system.
This looks like a great solution, and I’d love to try it for my future project. I really like the idea of integrating chat without complex development - it would save me a lot of time.
Greate Job!
I just tried out the ConnectyCube Chat Widget, and I’ve got to say—it’s a game-changer for adding real-time chat to your app or website. Super easy to set up, which is a huge plus for anyone who doesn’t want to spend hours coding from scratch. The real-time messaging works like a charm thanks to WebSockets, and the React/TypeScript setup with Tailwind makes it feel modern and snappy. I love how it’s scalable—perfect for small projects or bigger community chats.
Customization seems pretty flexible too; I could see tweaking the colors or layout to match my app’s vibe without much hassle. The free option is a great way to test it out, and it’s clear the team (shoutout to Yuliia and Garry!) put a lot of thought into making it developer-friendly. My only ask would be more built-in themes out of the box, but that’s minor. If you need a quick, reliable chat solution, this widget’s worth a look—definitely impressed!
Interesting widget. May I embed the widget in another service (e.g. a marketplace)?
@lena_m1 Indeed you could. It perfectly fits the Marketplace use case where buyers contact sellers via chat widget like this. This is one of the use cases we have covered in place
