Contractio is an AI-powered contract analyzer built for everyone — not just lawyers. Upload a PDF or DOCX, get an instant breakdown of the stuff that actually matters: what you're responsible for, where you're exposed, what happens if someone bails, and all the sketchy fine print buried on page 11. Here's what you get in under 60 seconds: → Responsibilities of both parties → Caveats & carve-outs → Legal enforcement & jurisdiction → A plain-English risk score (0–100), etc.
Hey PH! 👋
I built Contractio because I almost signed a terrible freelance contract last year. Not because I didn't care — because reading 14 pages of dense legalese at 11pm while a client was chasing me felt genuinely impossible.
A lawyer friend later pointed out three clauses that could have cost me thousands. I had no idea.
So I built the tool I wished existed.
A few things I want to be upfront about:
– This is NOT legal advice. It's a starting point, not a substitute for a real attorney on high-stakes deals.
– Scanned PDFs aren't supported yet (text-only extraction for now).
– Pricing is dynamic: $2.50 for a simple agreement, up to $10.50 for a big enterprise contract. Pay per analysis, no subscription.
What I'd love feedback on:
→ Are the output sections actually useful, or is there something missing you'd want to see?
→ Is the pricing model fair? Would you use this for real?
→ What contract types would you throw at it first?
I built the core in a weekend. There's a lot of room to grow — comparison mode, lawyer upsells, annotation on the original doc — but I wanted to ship the smallest useful thing first.
Try it, break it, tell me what's missing. I'm reading every comment. 🙏
