this is such a clever mashup — the cryptic + wordle format is genuinely satisfying when the clue clicks
the thing i kept running into with similar games is they assume you already know how cryptic clues work. if you don't know what a "hidden word indicator" or a "charade" is you're just guessing
that's why i've been using wordplay (wordplay.studio.gold) alongside — it's one cryptic clue per day but it walks you through the solving logic every time. after a few weeks i actually understand the mechanics now, which made games like this way more enjoyable bc i'm actually solving rather than vibing
