Apple removed Launchpad in macOS 26. CubbyPad brings back the full-screen app grid: pages, folders you arrange, F4, hot corners and the trackpad pinch. Then it goes further: a search bar that does maths, opens System Settings pages and runs your Shortcuts; Apple Intelligence that sorts your apps into folders on your Mac; and a row of the apps you use at this time of day. One-time purchase for 2 Macs, in 20 languages.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Rudra, and I built CubbyPad on my own.
When macOS 26 removed Launchpad, my apps ended up in one long pile in the new Apps view. I missed the grid, so I rebuilt it, then kept going:
• Open it the old ways: F4, the three-finger pinch, a hot corner, or ⇧⌘Space
• The search bar does more than find apps: "gc" finds Google Chrome, "24*18" gives 432, "dark mode" opens that Settings page, and it runs your Shortcuts by name
• AI Organize: Apple Intelligence sorts your apps into folders on your Mac. You see a preview first, and Undo puts it all back
• A strip of the apps you usually open at this time of day
• Imports your old Launchpad layout, has Work/Personal layouts that switch with Focus, and speaks 20 languages
It's a one-time purchase for 2 Macs. The first 50 buyers pay $5.99, then the price steps up to $9.99 and $15.99.
I'd love your feedback, especially on what's still missing compared with the old Launchpad. I'm here all day answering.
So excited for this! Can't wait to deep clean and reorganise my apps to match my mobile~
@nafisah_fileai thanks nafisah.
Importing the old Launchpad layout is the thoughtful touch — the muscle memory is the whole reason people miss it. Restoring the old ways in (F4, the pinch, hot corners) plus a search bar that does more than find apps, 'gc' for Chrome and '24*18' for quick maths, turns it from a grid into a proper launcher. I also like that AI Organize shows a preview before it touches your folders. Does the time-of-day strip learn on-device?
