i think i missed it somewhere. The revenue model seems to be upside down. As the content creator, I should be making 70% (SEVENTY PERCENT) of the revenue, and the infra service provider should be getting a maximum 30% THIRTY PERCENT cut. Maybe I misunderstood.
I pay an agent a 10% commission to get me new gigs; he doesn't take 90% for himself and give me 10%!
What am I missing here?

@mickobizzle good point. We are still figuring out the right number. This is a bit different than an agent model. It’s closer to the Google ads model. But your point is well taken and we will adjust these numbers accordingly.
I never imagined that newsletter creation could be more easy than this.
By using AI generation, RSS feed collection, and auto-schedule. You are good to go.
This is done for you if you just used the AI generator to create your newsletter. Also if you are a little bit worried about growing your newsletters, CuratedLetters have a newsletter directory(https://app.curatedletters.com/d...) which will help you get new subscribers.
I started over 8 newsletters in minutes. 🚀🚀🤩🤩
So nothing is missing and they are planning for more features and enhancements by a great team 🚀🚀
Good job CuratedLetters 👏👏
Congrats on the launch - as someone also working on an email marketing tool, really inspiring to see all the positive feedback. Love the simple UI/UX

@meowmail good luck on your product launch. I can't wait to see it. UI/UX is such a critical component that unfortunately gets ignored a lot. Thank you.
I wish you best of luck here, but it doesn’t feel there for me yet.
There are a lot of tools in the curated email space that are much more mature than this, including Curated (https://curated.co) and Goodbits (https://goodbits.io). Both of these tools have been around for a decade or longer. While they cost money, the experience on both of these tools clearly earns your money.
I think that your ad-driven angle is novel, but I personally feel that the approach opens publishers up to the very same traps that led them to start newsletters in the first place. I’ve been around the blogging block for long enough to know that ad networks made very similar promises to the one you’re making here, and the result was that everyone got pennies rather than dollars.
My recommendation for you would be to streamline the curation process and compete more on features rather than business model. I might even suggest creating an option so not everyone has to curate their newsletter. Some people just like writing.
Thanks for the feedback @shortformernie
Yes, we have a lot in the works. What you see now is just a fraction of whats to come.

@shortformernie thanks for taking time to write this very thoughtful comment. I tried goodbits for a few months and didn't like it, I switched to curated.co and used it for 6 years but it has so many features missing that I needed to automate and simplify my workflow of curating a newsletter, so I decided to build CuratedLetters. It was inspired by all these products and newsletters like TLDR and morning brew.
Yes about ending up with pennies but that is true for say a youtube video, just because you posted a video, it doesn't mean google will start paying you thousands of dollars. We give you all the tools to create an amazing newsletter that is fully automated, you still have to do the job of getting the subscribers and growing your audience.
With all that said, unlike the other tools, we are highly invested in helping you grow your newsletter so we have built a lot of tools to help you grow it and are building more. The other tools don't really care if you have 3 subscribers and send your newsletter once every 3 months because they get paid no matter what. In our case, we make more money if your newsletter grows so our goals are aligned. We succeed if you succeed.
I hope this answers your questions.
PS: ProductHunt commenting UX is not very good, I constantly miss comments and someone on the team has to point them out to me. So if you don't hear from me, feel free to contact me on our website chat. I read every message. Or just email me at emad@curatedletters.com
Thanks again.
