I like the idea of not having followers, that's spot on. It's gonna be tricky for you to actually get people to create some real and meaningful relationships, but this has the potential to be really helpful and encouraging for people who'd like to be creative but are lacking the confidence and/or the discipline. There are many challenges ahead, so I really hope you get it right. Good luck!
It’ll be interesting to see how this does and how it’ll become sustainable. There was always a weirdness to the “work together” imperative at HitRecord that seemed almost creatively exploitative (almost all of the money-making opportunities came from Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s whims). Cool community concept but one that needs a vetting mechanism (an issue that Kickstarter and Patreon continue to deal with). I could see Daisie facilitating connections and then deciding to charge for rights to reach out to certain people. Very curious to how they suggest approaching ownership over ideas that are discussed communally. But this looks like an honest attempt to decomoditize creative content, which is refreshing.
The app is no longer loading for me and is not available on iTunes anymore. Looks like it was discontinued.

Her pitch within the interview was on point! Person of many talents! Website seems like a cool idea too. I'm going to sign up for it at the very least to see how they create community without having a follower function
@tarungangwani@domsantry If we can inspire a generation of creative people to see a career within the creative arts as not just a pipe dream but something that is achievable and right at your finger tips, we'll be off to a good start. Success would be daisie becoming the home for creative collaboration. We have a vision where this can exist along side the current system and provide a platform for undiscovered talent, but we can also see it becoming it's own pool of independent creators who are working with each other, seeking each other out, and collaborate on their own homegrown shared projects.

This sounds very interesting, when will this be coming to android?
@rockstarcode Hey Rulian! Absolutely 🙌We're making a point to show the transparency of shared projects, from original concept through to finished product. We think this will be a very revealing and interesting process for consumers to witness, and potentially take part in. It will also ensure that producers receive feedback throughout the creative journey, not just at the end! Thanks for taking the time to ask a question! 🌼
