DBExpert by Curling is an AI-powered tool that helps you design database schemas. It uses natural language to generate database schemas and provides a visual interface to help you understand the schema.
I've been using DBExper and it's been really helpful.
Here's how it works: you just write what you need, and it builds the database structure for you—like having a conversation.
I use it to start from scratch, improve databases I already have, or even just to better understand an idea or test a different logic.
What’s great is that you can export it in different formats or create it directly in Supabase, which makes things a lot easier.
It also helps a lot when I need to convert from one database to another—like from PostgreSQL to MySQL—since it translates everything properly across different systems.
If you're looking for a faster and simpler way to build or adapt your databases, it's definitely worth trying.

DBExpert emerged from a study for our other platform, Skip, which is currently in Beta.
We needed to understand how to create the user experience of creating a database, and that's how DBExpert came about.
DBExpert allows you to create database structures using only prompts. Then, you can export them to various formats, including directly to Supabase.
In just a short time, we already have over 1,000 active users, and in addition to developers, several educators and universities also use DBExpert.
DBExpert is a breakthrough not only for developers, but also for the vibe coding.
Especially if you use it to understand the structure you created.
Bring in databases created by lovable or v0 to visually see what was created.
And finally, keep discussing it until you understand and actually request new implementations or changes.
After a certain degree of maturity, we decided to put it here on Product Hunt so that more people can use it in their daily lives.
I look forward to your feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Remember, you can use the code PHUNT for 1 free month of DBExpert.
Congrats on the launch! It would be cool if I could try it out with my existing postgres database. Maybe you could offer instructions on how the user can paste in the results from a query on information_schema and you could parse the output?
Also, FYI, the button to change the language to English wasn't working for me.

💎 Pixel perfection
I’m not a data person, but I needed to build a database for my startup. I was surprised by how the DB expert not only created the database but also improved it based on the suggestions I sent and explained everything I didn’t understand. I’m a customer — and a promoter <3

Amazing Tool! I tried, and I think this can help us build and model BD very fast. Tools like this can also help teams communicate and share knowledge, in addition to accelerating development. All this with natural language.

Really impressed by DBExpert! As someone who works with databases daily, I have a few questions:
1. Does DBExpert support generating complex relationships like polymorphic associations or self-referential relationships?
2. For the Supabase export feature - does it also handle generating the RLS (Row Level Security) policies? This would be super helpful for security setup.
3. Have you considered adding support for generating database migration scripts? It would be great to use natural language to describe schema changes and get the corresponding migration files.
Love the educational use case you mentioned. The visual representation of database structures could be really powerful for teaching database design concepts.
