@bjoernmichelsen Thanks for your kind words! It means a lot, coming from Producthunt's darling @nuclinohq 😃 Yes, control can be shared selectively with individuals. So if you have a group meeting but only want one person to control mouse & keyboard, you can restrict it by clicking on the "Share control" button next to the meeting participant in the participants list

@neiltak Hi Neil, what we share is a browser window and a document viewer which runs entirely in the cloud. So far, we've had no confusions about that, but we're working on a browser extension that also allows you to share your local desktop screen

@katmanalac @veronika_riederle is there a mobile app or iPad app? And for group meetings, is their vote scheduling? Loving the premise. Also can we charge people for our time in advance on your platform? I'm a growth hackers and charging for consultations are key. Speaking of which, like volume sales?

@brucekraftjr there is no app, Demodesk works out of the box with any browser and device. So if someone would klick on the meeting link on his phone, the Demodesk meeting automatically opens in the mobile browser. Same for ipad. As of now, there is no possibility to charge for meetings in advance yet within Demodesk, but you could redirect your booking page to a typeform that collects the payment (happy to explain the process in more detail - veronika@demodesk.com). Vote scheduling is on the roadmap for Q1.

State of SaaS Onboarding 2021

We've been using Demodesk since 9 months now. I love the software.

- The software is robust

- Never found any problems.

- Better alternative to Zoom

- Don't need Calendly

Pros:

Best part: We don't need download or create another calendly.

Cons:

The app could be more Intuitive for the user on the other side.

Working with really difficult and backwards thinking customers (health sector) Demodesk gives us a really nice solution to interact with our customers without always having to go there in person. Conventional tools wouldnt work since IT regulations most of the time prevent our customers from installing 3rd party software. the occasional minor bug occurs, but which software doesnt have those? response and support was always outstanding. We're really happy with the product and wish the team best of luck and success!

we introed DD 3,5 weeks ago (replacing zoom) and our sales team pretty much fell in love with it straight away because of the super honed UX which allows for a seem less demo experience and easy scheduling, setup and followups etc.. it just works without the usual delays and breaks during demos and calls. in marketing we are pretty happy too since we are seeing daily signups for demos trickling in straight from our pages through demodsk's scheduling forms. pretty awesome. the only feature missing is a way to sell without any sales people involved since these guys are pretty expensive. ;-) anything in the pipe for that @veronika_riederle?

We have been using Demodesk for +4 months now and love the ease of use and experience for our customers. They click on the Demodesk link and everything's working. Really the best UI/UX i've seen for video conferencing and sales.

Pros:

Easy to use interface and great user experience

Cons:

Hard to think about cons, it really serves our purpose perfectly..
