Hey everyone! Excited to announce our latest project Detox which made our team more productive over the past month. It basically replaces your Facebook feed with the sources available at http://usepanda.com (and activates automatically if you set up your working days & hours) Hope it’ll make you more productive! We’re really keen to hear your feedback on how we can improve it :)
@ahmetsulek Excellent. I was thinking of this idea for over a year and now there it is. *sad yay* It would be cool if you add reddit integration (picking which subreddits to see, seeing thumbnails of images, videos etc.) I wrote an article recently called "how to de-facebook yourself in 5 steps" http://kitze.rocks/de-facebook-y... and i'll make sure to add your app to this list. @thekitze Adding reddit is something we are working on Panda as well. Once we have the backend for that we'll add it to Detox right away. Thanks for the kind words!
@ahmetsulek I just installed the extension and it's great but i have few suggestions.
1. Mixing the sources in the feed instead of seeing posts just from one source.
2. More thumbnails (most of the sources don't show them)
3. If i go to "Close friends" or any other list on facebook and then jump back to a detox feed it doesn't do anything, it just highlights the feed in the sidebar.
4. When in "Detox mode" i shouldn't get the "New stories" popup that facebook shows when there are new posts available (i'm sure this can be hidden via css or js)
5. Add images that are trending on the imgur frontpage to the feed (so the feed will feel more facebook-y)

@thekitze thanks! That'll help a lot! I have to say that we had a prototype displaying Dribbble feed for a while and started the project Friday night from scratch. We'll totally consider your feedbacks!

Thank you for this. I've Downloaded it, and I'm really enjoying the interface. Is it possible to randomize the order of posts from different feeds? I'd prefer to see the most popular post from each feed, rather than clicking from source to source. I've played around with the settings, and it does not seem to be an option. Seriously, well done though!
@lombardinelson You can randomize order of posts and opening feed inside settings. We are considering mixed feeds.

@cakuki Thank you. Just to let you know I have enabled both of those features, and mixing feeds is absolutely desired. Still, this is AMAZING, and I'm very grateful for your hard work. This is something I'll use every day.
Where were you all 6 months ago when I moved 99% of my facebook friends out of my feed?! (Thanks Facebook for making that such an easy to accomplish, wonderful experience /s 😛)
I've recently followed in the footsteps of @benwtnb and (almost) taken FB off my iPhone. Even with a much-cleaner feed after the above friend culling, er... curation! I still get drawn into the vortex of the feed once I get in there (surfing pictures...) and have recently started using http://fbmacmessenger.rsms.me/ to avoid even having to open the browser (which I was doing almost solely for the purpose of accessing messenger on desktop).
But now I want to open up Facebook again! This is really interesting and I can see you creating a number of curated feeds (not just for us techies!) for different people that can be set to interweave in new content. Good job and thanks!

So I've installed on Chrome and after a refresh the left hand menus appear and everything is great. But, hitting the 'Home' button doesn't take me back to my original info anymore.
Am missing an obvious step so that when I click the Home button, I see the standard information again?
This is brilliant! I have been using Panda so far, but this is so much better! But this only replaces the main feed content and not the ad content in the right column. An ability to like/star anything in the main feed and it showing up as a bookmark list in the right column would be a godsend..
