Adding offline access to the full Pokédex would be huge, especially for people who like to browse on the train or in places with spotty signal. Being able to download regional Pokédex data and evolution chains ahead of time would make the app feel way more reliable when I'm not on wifi.

I`m really curious - do you plan to monetize it in the future or is it only for fun. And one more question - are you planning to make a site more playful in the future - maybe adding some interactive animations of pokemons or mini game to it?

Thanks! It's actually already monetized, but in a limited way. My goal has always been to keep the core experience free and enjoyable, so any monetization is designed to be non intrusive and never compromise the user experience.
And yes, I definitely have plans to make the site more playful over time. Interactive Pokémon animations, smoother transitions and more. and about the app, it already has mini games and lots of other fun stuff.
There's still a lot I want to build. Stay tuned till then ❤️

the material 3 design choices here really pop, especially how the evolution chains flow so smoothly into each other. nice work putting this much polish into what usually feels like a pretty mundane reference app.

finally an android pokédex that doesn't feel like it was built in 2010. the material 3 layout and smooth animations make scrolling through evolution chains actually enjoyable.
