While Notion and Dropbox Paper are versatile tools, Diarist aims to offer a more specialized experience for capturing and reflecting on personal thoughts. Diarist uses Supabase with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure that user data is protected. These policies are enforced at the database level, so no one—neither on the server nor the client side—can access the content without user permission.
