How we got here 🛣️
The road here wasn't straight. We started by building a pool car booking system for one client, then pivoted to parking, and when COVID hit, companies asked: "Can you help with desk and meeting room bookings too?"
We pivoted by listening to what the market actually wanted.

Finding a desk is a common issue with hybrid work. Congrats on the launch.
What happens if two team members hit dibs at the same moment especially for something limited like a parking spot?
@ruby_westwood Good question Ruby! The app actually prevents this from happening - we have built-in double booking prevention. So if two people try to book the same spot at the exact same moment, only the first one goes through.
This is fantastic. Can companies use Dibsido to limit bookings for certain spaces based on department or seniority?
@thea_cartwright Yes! You can set group permissions and choose which teams have access to specific spaces. Really useful for managing department-specific areas or VIP spots.
I love how simple it is just one click to claim your spot. Can team admins set any booking limits or rules?
@phoebe_morgan2 Yes! You can set booking rules per group and even prioritize certain groups by giving them earlier access to specific spaces. So if you want to give your senior team acceess on the best spots, you can totally do that.
The whole dibs idea is genius it makes booking feel like a game. Can users save their favorite spots for quicker access?

What an impressive launch. The user interface looks incredibly smooth kudos to your design team. How do you handle double bookings or overbooked days in busy offices?
@gracebates Thanks Grace! Really appreciate that. The app prevents double bookings automatically, so that shouldn't be an issue. If someone takes a spot without reserving it, we have a conflict reporting feature to handle that.
The analytics module is great for this too - you can actually see your highest utilization days, trends, and plan accordingly. Pretty handy for busy offices!
