Uhm... When my phone is on 5% with no charger nearby, my plan is to conserve the crap out of that last bit of juice for something potentially important. When I do have a charger, I use it sooner than at the last 5% mark. Personally, I'd use this app on exactly 0% of occasions.

Pretty cool concept. A couple feature requests: Remind me about the app when I'm at 5%. Make a 50% club, for those who are either on their way up or down. Sell ads on the app for Mophie.

I will never use it, as I replaced my iPhone with an Android with an increased battery. After 6 months had 5% only once.

Although personally I see no practical reason to use this app myself but I admire the creative and funny concept behind the app. Sometimes from such a crazy ideas are born astonishing things! As for the monetization, IMHO you could offer core functionality of the app itself for free but have in-app purchase options. For instance, "Buddy list" could be a premium feature to use to continue conversations later or see favorite users' profiles. Also in such a "time-stressful" app you could limit conversation time to 1 .. 3 minutes and shift this limit as a premium feature. Potentially, it could significantly increase app's user base as much more young users would have it "just for fun".
