@aleattorium@webjoe There isn't any AI or machine learning at the moment, it isn't that clever (I'm not that clever Ha).
It goes back through your most recent twitter activity and scores users based on how much reciprocal communication you have. It does go beyond just replying to each other, it'll take into account favourites, mentions, etc, and that's more so that users that don't tweet much can still have a list of the twitter users they like to read and share.
It's hard to give specifics because the way it calculates these things has changed twice already today from all the awesome feedback I've had and the list of improvements has grown a lot today :)
