Hey Josh, this tool sounds like it could be really neat but Iβm wondering if it always gets the summaries right, how can you make sure it doesnβt miss anything important, also would be cool if it could compare policies from different sites to show what's unique or different, just a thought!
@contentdevpro There are quite a few measures in place to make sure the summaries are accurate, but the longer the policy, the more clauses it seems to skip over. Prompting and natural language processing can only take me so far, so when API costs come down, I'm considering adding a few more steps to the summary gen process.
I've been using it and testing since November last year, and it honestly is very accurate. I've never seen it hallucinate, but as I say, skipping over clauses can be an issue.
The comparison thing is actually a feature I want to add soon - for each clause the app could say something like "this clause was only found in 3 other policies, be careful". I would find that very useful for figuring out what parts are just standard legal talk, and which are more specific to the company.
Congrats on the relaunch, Josh! π Itβs amazing to see how DocDecoder simplifies those complex legal documents. The real-time summaries and color-coding are game-changers for anyone trying to make sense of privacy policies. Excited to see how this tool evolves in the coming months. Definitely giving this an upvote! #MakersGonnaMake
