Hey, I'm a teacher and I gonna try Dory in remote education to make lessons brighter and more effective. Could you advise me any cool features to use this way? Is it possible to use Dory in educational purposes (e.g. to check up homework or to vote for the best opinion/composition)?
@kristina_sereda Thanks for asking! Yes, we actually had many teachers and parents used Dory. Are most of your classes online now? You can use Dory for your students to share their questions/comments/answers and then rest of the class to upvote. Here's a quick intro video: https://intercom.help/doryapp/en... (I think the best thing is to create an event and play around with it. I'm here if you have any follow-up questions 😊)

Q&A feature is super efficient for brainstorming.
Notes are good as an agenda and as personal notes.
All I need is well organized and in one place now.
What's next? Looking forward to even more exciting future updates!
@vingar Thanks for asking! We are going to enable this in the near future. We absolutely want to allow sign up with email directly 😊

Hey Ena, the product looks great and I will try to implement it in our upcoming company-wide meetings. Thanks for creating it!
A functionality we've been looking for for a while is being able to use one link for our recurrent meetings, so we don't need to create a new one every week, but it's cleared up a couple of days before the next occurrence instead. Would this be something you'd consider for Dory? 🤔
@nat_morawska Hello 😊 I just replied to your message on intercom. Yes, we actually use one link for our own recurring meetings as well. My suggestion is to "archive" all the questions from the previous meeting before the new one starts. And then you also get to keep the history of all the previous questions.
Although we ask for the "event date", the event does not expire after that date unless you manually close it. Hope this helps and any questions, reach me here or on intercom!
👋 Product Hunters!
Super excited to share that we just launched Dory, an internal meeting app we built to run better remote company meetings and conferences.
As a global team of developers, we wanted to build a tool that helps our internal meetings be more engaging and productive. Early on, Dory was adopted by companies such as Google, Zapier, Alyce, Packlane and many non-profit organizations. And now, we want to share it with the PH community!
With Dory, you can:
•Create Q&A events where people can submit and upvote questions
•Events can be public or private(restrict access to your own domain)
•Enable anonymous questions to remove fear of asking questions
•Shared and private meeting notes so never forget what was discussed again
•More to come. Video chat, whiteboarding, real-time collaboration, etc.
We would love your feedback and hear some of the biggest challenges you're facing with remote meetings. Help us build the best meeting app for you. Thank you! 🙏
