What is a good zip code I can enter with some known pre-registered dealerships? I'm outside your beta area in Portland, but i'd like to poke around a bit.
@johannbenedikt the zip code in San Francisco is 94115. We want to meet Portland dealers if you know any!

I like the concept. This is good for people that know what car they want. I didn't see an option to schedule a test drive. It would be amazing if they brought the car out to the customers location for them to test drive/check out before they commit to the purchase. Is that something you plan on incorporating in the future?
@aamerjomaa that's a great suggestion. currently, we are focused on nailing the purchase experience, because dealerships do a pretty good job with test drives. However, scheduling test drives seems like a no-brainer feature to add soon!
@aamerjomaa my initial thoughts, getting the car to the customer might be "too much". But thinking about how customers buy, i would be very interested on seeing how that would affect sales. The fact that the customers would see the car they're thinking about all the time, on their driveway would probably give them a big push.
As a former car salesman, I always knew there was a better way to the car buying process. Most customers know what they're looking for. I dabbled in another solution but this does it. If you guys want to launch in Canada, happy to help.
Congrats @akrane!
@sluu thank you for the support, always good to get reinforcement from industry experts.

I am finding dead "more info" links, the back button takes me back to the start and clears my zip code, etc. Otherwise seems no better/worse than speccing out a car anywhere else. Maybe the buying transaction is the value here, but up to that point, not sure yet.
@dswiese thanks for pointing out those bugs, they will be fixed immediately. to your other point, the primary value here is the buying (or "checkout") flow; that's the focus for the time being. if you want to give me more feedback, I'd love to chat directly!

@akrane Great concept, congrats. Im a BIG car guy. When I bought my first brand new car (Jeep Wrangler), I was actually looking forward to go to the local dealer, to see all the jeeps they have, and for the whole experience of picking up and bringing home a new car. I was also "blessed" to be able to buy a brand new Rolls Royce last year and again the experience of going to their store was absolutely amazing!
However I can see myself using the website for saving 3-5 hours of processing paperwork. Would be great if you have an option to pick up the car yourself. I also would like to be able see lots of BIG pictures of the car, not just a stock photo! Every car has a character. For example you can see different lines in the car when you looking at white or black Dodge Charger, I will also want to see how the wheels look like.. etc So having pictures of the actual car will def help me make with my choice! All the best. Nik

Great concept. For some reason the idea of going to a car dealership seems really intimidating to me, especially when I know the car that I want. So I admire the transparency.

Just bought a car and the process was a nighmare, it's waste of time where the sales men is using all the trick that everybody know. On top, when you have kids, it's even worst. Next time, i will go first here for sure.
