Reviewers praise Dyad’s freedom and control: it runs locally, avoids lock‑in, and lets you choose any AI model, including free options. Many say it outclasses paid rivals like Bolt, v0, Replit, and Lovable, citing transparent, developer-first workflows and only paying for usage. Users note fast progress, weekly updates, GitHub integration, React/Next.js support, and new mobile capabilities. While some mention early-stage bugs and polish gaps, regular users still rely on it daily and expect rapid improvement, calling it a powerful, open-source tool that keeps getting better.

@jeremy_maisse great question. This is definitely a challenge with AI coding and Dyad handles this by sending by default the entire codebase as context to avoid having the AI duplicate code, etc. With Dyad Pro, there's a Smart Context mode which automatically finds the most relevant files to optimize token usage and still avoid this issue where duplicate code is being generated.
Hi will ,
Huge congrats on launching dyad — that's a big milestone!
I specialize in creating short, scroll-stopping promo videos that help founders like you:
-Make noise on social media
-Explain key features fast
-Drive more signups/downloads during launch week
I had a few quick ideas for a 15–30 second promo that could help you get more attention while the momentum is fresh.
If you're open to it, I’d love to share a sample and a concept that fits your brand.
Best of luck today either way —
best regards

Paraflow
It is convenient by working seamlessly with AI models like Gemini & Claude, and running on both Mac and Windows. Makes using it so easy and smooth.
