Hello everyone! I am thrilled to introduce EasyDictation, an English learning platform designed to help you accelerate your language learning progress through my dictation app. I’ve noticed that many users learn English by listening to and writing down what they hear from YouTube videos. However, this method requires a lot of effort to control the video player and check the transcript. Most existing tools only support a limited selection of YouTube videos chosen by the admins, which means limited learning material. I built this app to solve these problems and bring additional features that users will love. Key benefits include: - Add any YouTube video you love to the app via its URL. The app then creates sentence-based captions and provides a control panel to manage the video, jump/repeat sentences, and check user input against the generated captions. - Track user learning progress so that users can resume their work anytime, anywhere. My analysis feature helps users get an overview of their learning habits. User rankings add an element of fun and help in building good habits. - Support speaking practice by using voice input to convert the user’s speech to text and compare it with the captions, allowing users to receive feedback on their speaking. Hi @ema_elisi , thank for the interesting question. The app feedback on the word-level pronounciation, the app adopted a AI Speech to Text, so if you talk, the app will feedback on what it heard like as same as the native specker feedback: what word is correct, what word is wrong, etc.

@hugsfromtheuniverse well, that is interesting question, but for short. I initally build this app for myself, to solve my own problem when learning English. I found that learning from Youtube is greate way because of the diversity of contents and the effectiveness of shadowing method.
