Hi Product Hunt π I'm Hayk, a solo iOS developer, and EasyFasting is the app I wish existed when I started fasting.
Two things bugged me about this category.
First, billing. The popular fasting apps sit at 4.8 stars on the App Store and around 1.8 on Trustpilot. The gap is almost always the same story β charged after cancelling, cancel-only-by-email, your data trapped behind an account you can't delete. The tracking works; the business model poisons it.
Second, bloat. Most fasting apps are quietly trying to become everything else β calorie counters, meal planners, AI coaches β until the actual fast gets buried under features that have nothing to do with fasting. I just wanted to fast, learn a bit about what's happening in my body, and see my progress. Not wade through a nutrition platform to start a timer.
So I built the opposite β focused and honest:
- Focused on fasting, not a calorie/meal platform. A clean timer, your fasting phases, your streaks β plus a free Learn tab so you can actually understand fasting instead of just counting macros.
- No account. Your data stays on your device and your private iCloud. I can't see it.
- Billing runs only through Apple. Cancel in Settings like any subscription β no cancel-by-email, no retention hoops β refunds through Apple.
- The timer and all 5 schedules are free forever. Phase science written honestly, no "autophagy at exactly hour 12" promises.
- A one-time lifetime option, for people done renting their apps.
Today I also shipped a native Apple Watch app with phase-colored complications, and a forgiving editable timer β fix a start you forgot to log, or skip a day without breaking your streak. It's the most-requested feature in the category.
It's live and free to try. I'd love your take: do you want a focused fasting app that does one thing well, or do you prefer the all-in-one calorie-and-coach approach?
Thanks for checking it out π

The skip-a-day-without-breaking-your-streak detail is genuinely thoughtful. Most fasting apps punish you for a single missed day, so seeing that kind of forgiving UX is a real differentiator.

@lorelaigilmoreΒ totally agree, also updating fasting start time and end time very useful. I am practicing it several months and those both functions are necessary to keep data correct and streak active.
Are you practicing fasting?

The "no account required" stance sold me on trying it, and the editable timer that lets you skip a day without nuking your streak is genuinely thoughtful. Refreshing to see a fasting app that doesn't try to upsell you after hour 12.

Finally a fasting app that doesn't shove subscriptions down your throat. Skipped a day on a trip and the streak held up, which was honestly a relief. Clean little Watch app too.
