Hi Ivan, this is actually one of my research topics while I taking master. We used various electrical characteristics to identify different appliances. It is very challenging. So excited to see you guys' product! Congrats!
@alfred_wang Wow! Sounds that you have a strong expert knowledge in our field! Maybe you will have 10 minutes for an interesting talk next week? And thank you for your great feedback :)

@adiatlov Hi Alex, I'd like to hear more about your product. Next week should work, please let me know what time. Thanks :)
@alfred_wang great! I will check with @ivan_pasichnyk about his availability, since he is in a U.S. business trip now. Could you send me your email or write to alexander@ecois.me ?
@ianatiev Thank you, Bogdan! Soon we will start manufacturing and product delivery :)

It was hard way, I think. And finally... It launched! Very good news, guys. I am waiting for my sensor and hope it will be so cool
The smart part is quid but for what I have seen that is something nobody has gotten it quite right yet, discriminating what appliances are consuming at any single point in time requires quite a detailed analysis that many factors beyond voltage, apparent power, real power, active and reactive current... harmonics play an important role and I don't know what other factors depending on the type of loads. In other words it's not as easy as it seems, takes more computing power than meets the eye and it's no child's play real AI and quite advanced deep learning algorithms.
Promises are promises, hopes are hopes, but actually delivering what they promise with regards to reliable discrimination of loads is actually going to be one tough cookie.
Everything else is pretty much covered by already matured products at half the price for domestic loads and at around the same price for industrial ones that record and report real-time harmonics (harmful ones), voltage, amperage, reactive, active, phi, real vs apparent power consumption, a bunch of other parameters regarding max. circuit loads and the quality of supply and both local alarms at the sensor and at software for out of range measurements.

Where did the makers go? I guess the are busy finding an answer to the only tough question. Beware that if I were a preorderer, I would be already taking with my Credit Card or Bank to put a hold on any payments or repudiated any already cashed, if I ever wanted to see my money again.

No, Ukraine doesn't happen to be one of London's boroughs yet.
When the say they state Ecoisme was created in 2013 but its name was registered on 2011 doesn't add up either.
Not a single product delivered in six years with a team of 14, bootstrapped... either someone got deep pockets or they are not being straight forward with the facts.
We all seen and know how easy is to start lying, or "being creative", with one little detail here and there, how near impossible is to stop before it gets out of hand so badly that it ends with your own little Theranos.
@abetancort thank you for your comment. We’re sorry that it took us long to reply you due to big number of requests to our Support Team.

You’re totally right! Device disaggregation is a complex topic. That’s why it took us longer than we expected to finalise the technology. That’s why there are only a few players on the market (you can find their names and our advantages in the comments above).
@abetancort you can check the latest videos how the system works on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/...
Also you can find details about our development process and challenges we faced at our Indiegogo campaign's page: https://www.indiegogo.com/projec...

Long story short about our incorporation history:
- August 2013 - idea of Ecoisme was born when we took part in the hackathon Tesla Camp in Kyiv, Ukraine. All founders, including myself, are Ukrainian. Founders registered domain names on their behalf. Our first domain name was ecois.me
- June 2014 - we got our first investments from Deutsche Telekom and registered our company in Poland. The company name is Ecoisme sp. z o.o. and you can check its details in the Polish company registry (it is in Polish only): https://ems.ms.gov.pl/krs/danepo...
- April 2016 - we made re-incorporation to the UK and opened Ecoisme Limited. You can check company details and company directors information at https://beta.companieshouse.gov....
Domain name ecoisme.com was bought by ourselves in 2015. You can check it at http://web.archive.org/web/20140...

@adiatlov I wish you crack that nut but I have seem so many go at it, thinking that reading that reading consumption, reactive and inductive charges changes in phase is enough and failing miserably when you start adding up appliances running concurrently, so please allow me to be an skeptic with regard to the accuracy of the discrimination.
And at your price range there are already DIN professional line analyzers with wifi capability that monitor, record, report and relay many more critical parameters than yours, not just for consumption but the quality of the electricity delivered and the the loads, all of which is necessary to attain efficient consumption (lower) and reduce the breakdowns of electronic equipment in the home or facility.
@abetancort we have installed around 20 sensors in real apartments and they show good results of device detection. In March we will produce a test batch of sensors for 150 sensors which we will install in the apartments and houses in Europe, US and Middle East.
>>And at your price range there are already DIN professional line analyzers
Could you specify names of these analyzers?
