edCode is the easiest way to learn how to code. Learn everything you will need, from any device, anytime, anywhere. Our duolingo-inspired, bite-sized lessons allow you to learn how to code on the go, from any platform.
@jorgealonsodf Thank you! Mimo is very similar to what we have currently, but we plan to go above and beyond and create a sort of 'social network' that exists on Khan Academy and in part Duolingo, which will allow users to collaborate and improve their coding skills. Sololearn, from my experience, has had a poor user experience on mobile, whereas we ensure that you can learn easily on any device.

Congratulation @andrew_m_ , This looks really intresting
Excited to see edCode making coding more accessible and fun for everyone! ⭐ The Duolingo-inspired bite-sized lessons sound like a game changer for busy folks. Love the idea of a real-time leaderboard — it adds that competitive spirit we all need to stay motivated!
Certificates upon completion? Yes, please! Those will definitely give us something to show off.
Andrew, can’t wait to see how you all shape edCode. Here’s to hoping it becomes the go-to platform for code enthusiasts everywhere. Looking forward to checking out updates from the Makers! Keep that feedback rolling in, everyone — let’s help make this MVP even better!

💡 Bright idea
@andrew_m_
To make this an even more effective tool for coding education, I would suggest adding more interactive elements, such as hands-on coding challenges and real-time feedback. Additionally, it would be helpful to have a community forum where users can share their projects and collaborate with each other. This could enhance the learning experience and foster a sense of community.
Keep up the great work!

Hey @andrew_m_, edCode sounds like a game changer! Love the idea of Duolingo-inspired coding lessons—very smart move! 🚀 The real-time leaderboard could bring some serious motivation to the coding grind. Can't wait to see how this evolves. Definitely going to keep an eye on this one! What about plans for a freemium model? That could help attract more learners! Keep us updated!
@james_wilson_ Thank you! Currently we will be 100% free to use, but later on as we continue to grow we might adopt a more moderate version of the Duolingo system where questions that you get wrong on quizzes consume a 'heart', and hearts can be bought. We might also adopt a premium plan, but we want to ensure that all features will be available to free users.

edCode is a promising platform @andrew_m_ but I found the content a bit basic for more advanced learners. Adding higher-level courses or topics could attract a wider audience and cater to varying skill levels.
@ayesha_skinner Thank you for the feedback! We just recently launched so currently have minimal courses, but we are in the process of expanding our team and creating more diverse course offerings 👍
